SoundBridge/SoundBridge Radio 3.0 Software Update
(Flash Card Method)

Important Note: This method is only available for SoundBridge models that have an SD memory card slot. Supported models are listed below.

  • SoundBridge Radio (R1000)
  • Pinnacle SoundBridge HomeMusic (M400)

To update the SoundBridge's software from a flash card, follow these steps:

  • Fill out the below form:
    • I agree to the terms of service.
  • Unzip FlashCardUpdate30.zip and copy the update.rok file to a SD/MMC card using your PC and a flash card reader. The file on your SD/MMC card must be named update.rok.
  • Plug your SoundBridge into power and turn it on.
  • Insert the SD/MMC card into your SoundBridge.
  • Press the Menu button on the remote control.
  • Navigate down to Change Library or Configuration and press Select.
  • Navigate down to System Configuration and press Select.
  • Select Software Version and Updates.
  • You will be shown your current software version and be given the option to check for a software upgrade.
  • Choose Yes to check for software upgrades for your SoundBridge or SoundBridge Radio.
  • You will then see, New Software is available locally. You will be given the option to choose Yes or No.
  • Select Yes to upgrade.
  • Once the upgrade completes, you will be prompted to select OK to reboot the unit. Once it reboots, it will be running the new software.
